"Soon he opened his mouth and talk."
Soon.
Not yet.
The trick of the mind.
The illusion of thought "looking" at the state prior to thought.
"Soon he will start to talk."
The mind thinks.
"Now is prior to that."
Thought says.
And all this time the river is flowing.
With thoughts, with words.
Before new thoughts, after words are said.
Who can tell if there is that - before all that stream?
If that which is before, is before in the sense of time,
Prior to, soon will be followed by – it is not that.
If that which is prior to thought is real, it must be forever real.
It must be that which can never be followed by thoughts.
Standing apart, completely untouched by the stream.
All you have, see if it's true, is the capacity to question that.
Any answer that follows that question is the stream.
Even the recognition of the question as a question that is a potential for an answer –
Is already the stream in action.
If you truly question, the fact is there: 'you don't know.'
If you truly don't know, fully, deeply, honestly, for real, thoughts are not invited.
The question dissipates in the infinite space
And it is no longer a ground for thought to build its realm of knowledge.
