You don't choose in your life, inwardly, to walk alone. The alone chooses you to walk with. What does it mean? What does it mean to walk alone inwardly? to walk without past, to walk without anything that is waiting in a destination without any destination. To walk in this context means to live day by day, and to walk alone means that only the walk, only the living day by day, is real. And anything that is associated with it that is joining this walk, is purely imagined.

The life that you live day by day, you take it probably to be the results of your preferences, choices, education, training, circumstances, capabilities, lack of capabilities and so on. And as a navigator of this life, which is how you see yourself, or at least how you hope to be, a successful navigator of life, you may miss the beauty of freedom not to know.

to walk alone, inwardly, to live day by day without taking with you any assurances, any map, direction, reason, cause, goal, justification, choices, all that. means that the unknown is the navigator, not you. And the unknown, which is the infinite potential, it can manifest in endless ways, chooses for you how to walk, where to walk, and most importantly, what is the meaning, the deep profound meaning, and beauty and depth in walking alone.

It doesn't mean that you have to be ignorant or ignore the world around you. In fact, walking alone establish deep respect to that infinite field of potentiality in which, as a space, you become much more aware of the world around you, in a way that is much more intimate than personal relationship, much more wholistic.

It also doesn't mean that that walking alone is an attribute by itself, is a proof of something, or is a quality what it is, if at all, is a reality where, in which the unknown walk with you and open your eyes to look without seeing, without recognizing.

Open your real eyes to meet the truth, the living truth of not knowing. and that is the real meaning. And that is why it is not something you can choose, you can practice, you can bring yourself to. It is either real, or it is simply not.
