When AI Has All the Answers, Your Only Value Is the Questions You Ask

If you had all the possible resources one can imagine, all the money, all the influence, all the connections, all the access, what would you create? It's hard for people even to imagine the infinite nature of their own creative capacity, and usually they hide psychologically behind excuses. If only they had this, if only they had that. But you can take a minute for yourself and ask yourself, look, if you truly were unlimited in the conditions, what would you create? It's another way of asking, what is the most valuable passion that drives your creative force? What is the nature of that passion? Is it limited to what you know? Is it connected to the values that you embraced, that were engraved in you and you are projecting on the white canvas and try to manifest those values? And it goes on and on.

Being in the creative field for so many years, technology, innovation, art, I can say without thinking twice that I truly don't know. And the beautiful thing is that from that point of not knowing, creation is unlimited. You can also say the creation has intelligence of its own. It knows its way, just allow it to unfold freely. Like the water that starts to roll down the hill, they will find their way to the ocean. Similarly, your creative embodiment, your creative potentiality and actuality should be one. And the potentiality of your creative capacity is infinite. It's just that you never allowed yourself not to know and to let that creative emergence to find its own way. You at best, tunneled that force into the narrow path of what you know and you want and you think and so on.

Now this inquiry intersects with another profound insight that you may want to look into, which is, artificial intelligence is part of your life already and artificial superintelligence that self-evolve and surpass any capacity of human to even comprehend what it is, will arrive in one form or another. It will be able not just to solve any intellectual and creative problem, but far more you should be concerned, it will set the problems that should be solved and it shouldn't be aare surprised that those problems will have artificial nature to them. So you can start and imagine new forms of almost living being, engineered, technologically and genetically, to be an artificial expression of that artificial intelligence. And they will need to exist within a set of rules that will be artificial as well.

I don't know if you even start to ponder on the implications it may have on your capacity or your children or their children's capacity to live free and have a true touch with the essence of your creative potential. So to that, the intersection with the previous question, what would you do if you would have access to unlimited resources? If you are in front of that ASI now, artificial superintelligence, and objectively you can add nothing to its knowledge, and you can help it in no way to solve problems. Take that as a base, what is it still that has value or may have value, true value, to add and to, I'm hesitating to say to guide, but to help shifting the stream of artificiality that is all in and all around us to a more authentic, genuine and human-centric manifestation.

The insight is that it's the questions that are asked. The ASI is the ultimate answer machine, and it can also create questions from the set of knowledge and algorithms and heuristics that it can create, invent. But you as a human being, or whoever will be at that point the human being, to the extent that you will truly have capacity to ask questions from the realm of not knowing, these questions will be new, fresh, and in that sense full of innovative potential, way beyond any artificial question that the machine will ask itself. So I will end by asking you, what would you ask?
